Privacy policy
The short version: Momentum Huddle runs inside your own Google Sheet, and that sheet is the database. Your meeting data never leaves your Google account for our servers — we don’t have servers that store it. The add-on only touches the tabs of the sheet it’s used in, sends mail but never reads it, and pulls Google Analytics read-only with your own sign-in. No stored credentials, no ads, no selling data, ever.
Who we are and what this covers
Momentum Huddle is a Google Sheets add-on that runs a structured weekly team meeting — scorecard, priorities, issue solving, to-dos, and recaps. This policy covers the add-on and this website (momentumhud.com). Questions or requests: langtonac300@gmail.com.
What the add-on can access, and why
When you install the add-on, Google shows you a consent screen listing exactly these permissions. Here is each one in plain words:
| Permission | What it’s for |
|---|---|
| Current spreadsheet only | Read and write the Huddle_* tabs of the sheet the add-on is opened in. It cannot see your other files or Drive. |
| Send email | Send the heads-up and recap emails you configure. This permission cannot read anyone’s mail — send-only, by design. |
| Google Calendar | Show free/busy when you schedule from the app, and create the events you ask it to create. |
| Google Analytics (read-only) | Fill scorecard metrics you point at your GA4 property. Every request runs with your sign-in; you see only data your own account can see. The only thing stored is the property ID — an identifier, not a secret. |
| Your email address | Identify you for the free-trial and license state, and to set calendar defaults. |
| External requests | Talk only to endpoints you configure: your Jira domain, your chat webhook, and the license-key validation service. |
| Manage triggers & show UI | Display the app dialog, and install the time-based email/Jira automation triggers you switch on in Settings. Turning them off removes them. |
Where your data lives
- Your meeting data — scorecard, priorities, issues, to-dos, history — lives in visible Huddle_* tabs of your own spreadsheet. You can open, audit, export, or delete all of it at any time. We never copy it to servers of ours.
- Trial and license state (first-open date, a validated license key) is stored in Google’s per-user properties for the add-on, inside your Google account’s add-on storage.
- If you connect Jira, your Jira API token is stored in the script’s properties — never in the spreadsheet — and is used only to create issues in your own Jira project.
What we never do
- We never sell your data or share it with advertisers. There are no ads.
- We never read your email. The add-on has no permission that could.
- We never store your Google password or tokens on external servers, and we never act on your behalf when you’re not using the add-on (the automations you enable run as you, inside your Google account, under the triggers you installed).
- We never use your Google data to train machine-learning or AI models, and no humans read it — except with your explicit permission for support, or where required for security or by law.
Google API Services — Limited Use disclosure
Momentum Huddle’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide the add-on’s user-facing features described above, and is never transferred to third parties except as needed to provide those features (see below), for security, or to comply with law.
Third-party services you choose to connect
- License validation — when you enter a license key, the key (and an instance name) is sent to our payment provider’s validation endpoint to confirm it’s active. That provider is the merchant of record for purchases; your payment details go to them directly and never touch the add-on.
- Jira — if you enable the sync, to-do titles and details you choose to sync are sent to your Jira site using your token.
- Google Chat webhook — if you paste a webhook, to-do notifications post to the space that webhook belongs to.
Each of these is off until you configure it, and stops when you remove the configuration.
This website
The site is static. We use Vercel to host it and Vercel Web Analytics for cookie-free, aggregate page metrics (no cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers). The site sets no cookies. The interactive preview on the homepage runs entirely in your browser with sample data — nothing you click there is personal data, stored, or sent anywhere beyond the aggregate event counts above.
Retention and deletion
Because the spreadsheet is the database, deleting your data is in your hands: delete rows, delete tabs, or delete the spreadsheet, and it’s gone. Uninstalling the add-on removes its menu, its triggers, and its access; your sheet and its tabs remain yours. To ask us to delete license records held with the payment provider, email langtonac300@gmail.com and we’ll complete it within 30 days.
Children
Momentum Huddle is a workplace tool and isn’t directed at children under 16. We don’t knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we’ll update the date at the top and note the change plainly on this page. We won’t quietly expand what we collect.
